| National Certificate in Travel |
| Description |
If you have dreamt about travelling and working in the tourism industry, you have a service driven nature and enjoy working with people – then this qualification is for you. After just one year you will become a young travel consultant. You will also learn Galileo required by the travel industry in South Africa and many agencies internationally.
The programme will prepare the learner for entry-level positions such as travel consultants tour consultants and car rental agents. |
| Admission requirements |
A knowledge, comprehension and application of language at NQF level 4/Grade 12
The knowledge, comprehension and application of mathematics at NQF level3/Grade 11. |
| Certification |
| On successful completion of the programme, the learner will receive a GTA and THETA certificate in General Travel. This certificate is equivalent to the National Certificate: General Travel, SAQA ID 14119, NQF Level 5, 147 Credits. |
