Gauteng Travel Academy has introduced an interactive supplier programme which will have our learners engage with respected suppliers in the travel and tourism industry through presentations, site visits and supplier based practical assessments. GTA believes in going the extra mile for our learners and for the respected company that has sponsored the learnership.
Gauteng Travel academy's 4th educational took place in Cape Town on the 25th - 26th August with feedback regarding the V&A Waterfront and the historical beauty that it revealed. We are glad to say that the weather was better this time around!
Our students arrived at the OR Tambo International Airport to fly high as usual with one of our main sponsors, British Airways Comair, whom has assisted us from the first educational!

After arriving at Cape Town International Airport, our shuttle sponsor: AAA Shuttles & Tours agreed to handle all of our travel in and around Cape Town. We were driven to our Accommodation which was at the prestige Three Cities Hotels: INN On The Square which is located in an ideal central location, a walking distance from much of what Cape Town has to offer.
After dropping off our bags, we immediately went to the world famous V&A waterfront and toured for hours, soaking in the amazing scenery that was evident, the harbour and the backdrop of Table mountain made everything worthwhile.

Upon arriving back at INN On The Square, We were spoilt with fine service and Dinner, bed and breakfast. INN On The Square is a beautiful 4 star hotel that overlooks green market square which is one of Cape Town's most popular African markets. Our students ended up touring the surrounding area to get a feel for the city centre.
