My first experience in Cape Town

Was incredibly amazing as I got to undergo the beauty of the Mother city that is also known as Cape Town. This tour was very exciting from the moment I embarked on the aero plane which was also scary as it was my first experience but as it went by I found it more fun and more astonishing. I got to see the exquisite view of the earth looking from up in the air which made it real that “Cape Town here I come”. As we got closer it was delightful to see the view of the great Table Mountain, the beach and the exquisite breeze that soothes you as we made our way to sight see hotels.

We drove to The Bay Hotel which is situated right in front of the beach and learnt that the suite offers a 5 star luxury in a unsurpassed setting, it consist of 78 rooms that includes a romantic, a leisure bliss that is supported by a well-appointed spa and no less than 4 hotel pools with an expensive sun deck and superlative views of an Atlantic and majestic lion’s head.

At The Bay Hotel you can also experience the convenience of the Deli, cocktail bar and beach club or a casual beach front cafe. You a can also see the view of the ocean, basking in the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Camps bay. We were spoiled for choice.

We then drove to the Townhouse Hotel where we had our dinner bed and breakfasts that was out of this world and went to sight see the old buildings around Cape Town CBD. The experience was phenomenal, wish I could have stayed longer to experience more great things in the Mother City and have more memories to last a lifetime.

When I began your class I thought I knew the kind of challenges you'd make me face. You gave me motivation to pursue the best, and to reject the commonplace. Your thinking really opened up my mind, with wisdom, style and grace, you made me see, that what I'd choose to seek, I'd surely find, you shook me out of my complacency. If I could teach you Erica, I'd show you the positive effect you have had on me and my life. I thank you now for everything you've done, what you have taught me I will not outgrow. Your kind attention touched my mind an heart, in many ways that you will never know. Thank you for giving me a goal to shoot for. Rarely does someone get to influence a persons' life in a positive way for a lifetime. I pray that the Almighty blesses you and Grant's you with abundant resources, intelligence and wisdom to do your job.

One of my favourite quotes is by Bishop TD Jakes - "I fully intend to preach the word of God to you until there is a difference between how you walk out of here and how you walked in here". And like the student you had before us who ran screaming in the corridors you inspired me to aim high in life, I walked in your class wanting to have Galileo so that I can be a travel consultant but now I have a goal to shoot for, I am aiming high and it really means a lot to me that someone like you can see potential in someone like me. I can proudly say I am leaving your class with better knowledge and understanding of the industry, I can see the difference between how I walked in your class and how I am walking out but I will let my actions speak for themselves as we both know talk is cheap. I can never say thank you enough and I promise to make you proud and my work will prove it. THANK YOU ERICA!!!

Hi to all the GTA prospective students,

I just wanted to congratulate all of the prospective GTA students including my younger sister and my two friends on your wise decision to join GTA.

My career started here 3 years ago and I'm now a senior at one of the world's top lifestyle airlines - Emirates and it was because of Erica and all her staff at GTA who were always dedicated and committed to bring the best in their students. These short courses will equip you with most of the sales technique, excellent customer service and travel and tourism industry product knowledge that you will keep using through out your career.

So pay attention in class, aim high and work very hard, you'll be given all the tools you need to succeed.
